In 2010 a 4.5 acre lake – The Islands Carp Fishery was sculptured and crafted to perfection by expert excavator operator Paul Millard. It was designed by Tony Campbell who has over 20 years experience in fish farming and fishery management. With Paul owning his own very successful ground works business and Tony running two carp farms, one of which is the largest of its kind in the country, they decided to team up to create C.M. Fisheries LTD.
Merrington Carp Fishery is situated in North Shropshire and is set deep in the heart of unspoilt countryside away from noise allowing you to relax and enjoy your time with us. It is likely to become Shropshire’s premier day ticket water and offers both day and night fishing with only carp stocked in the lake.
Prior’s Carp Fisheries has 3 lakes with 2 reserved for syndicate members “the Dell” and “Berwick Ponds” and 1 day ticket water “the Slips”. The 2 syndicate waters hold the large fish with the day ticket water is predominantly a runs water.
Our Specimen lake ‘Station’ is one of the most popular day-ticket waters in the midlands, a real haven with some stunning fish in. The whole Lavender Hall Fishery site used to be a landfill 25 years ago, as such Station boasts a number of features.
Gawsworth Fisheries are situated in between Macclesfield and Congleton and is one of Cheshire’s premier day ticket fisheries, Gawsworth Fisheries is an all round fishery that comprises of five lakes Wall Pool, Wood Pool, Park Pool Coppice Pool and Spring Bank Pool as well as its own private canal, all the waters are extremely well stocked and will accommodate all anglers from the novice to the Specimen Carp Hunter alike.
