Selby Three Lakes is a premier carp fishery in the North of England, Selby is accessible from the M1, A1M and M62 motorways. These immaculately maintained waters comprise the Selby Day Ticket Lake, open to all anglers and the Syndicate Lake which is a private members fishery.
The Day Ticket Lake is four acres in size and depth’s vary between 3 ft to 18 ft. The fishery is open to carp, pike and coarse anglers and contains carp to 30 lb, several 20’s and plenty of doubles. The average size is around 13 lb to 19 lb. There are also plenty of large bream, roach, tench and pike to 27 lb. This mature lake has many features including overhanging trees, lily pads, reed lined margins a dividing spit, gravel and sand bars and areas of silt on the lake bottom.
The Selby Syndicate the historic Selby Syndicate Lakes offer fantastic fishing in a peaceful and tranquil environment. Two of the original three lakes on the site have been merged to create a single 8-
acre lake. The lake contains a very distinctive strain of scaly and dark coloured mirror and common carp that have real character. These fish complement newer additions which are stocked as part of a managed stocking programme to ensure the future of this famous fishery.

Day ticket rules
Our rules are common sense and they exist for the safety and enjoyment of anglers and the welfare of fish and wildlife. Enjoy your visit and if you have any problems please speak to the bailiff.
All litter must be taken home.
All fish must be returned to the water.
No keep nets apart from during authorised matches.
No bait boats.
No unattended rods.
No fires or loud radios.
Respect other anglers.
Wire traces must be used when pike fishing.
Unhooking mats and 42” landing nets must be used for carp and pike fishing.
No pike angling between March 15th and October 1st.
3 rods maximum per angler.
Fishing from designated pegs only.
Fish antiseptic must be used when carp fishing.
Particle baits must be properly prepared. No dry particles.
Anglers failing to respect the rules of the fishery will be requested to leave the site immediately.
Anglers are advised to be in possession of a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence before visiting the fishery.
